A. DANCE LESSON WORKSHOP
Participants learn leadership through swing and salsa dance. Positive communication, risk-taking, teamwork, goal-setting, and leadership are all covered in a way that will stick in your memory. It’s a fun and educational way to get youth moving. (Maximum occupancy contingent upon space and sound equipment)
B. Dance-off workshop
Participants are divided into teams and must create a short dance performance that incorporates the skills of teamwork, communication, time management, public performance, and leadership.
C. OWN YOUR PERSONALITY
Participants complete the Own It Personality Test and increase their personal clarity. Students laugh and learn how to make the most of their unique personalities while effectively relating to and leading others.
D. The power of words
Participants learn how to compliment, share an opinion, apologize, and resolve conflict. These communication skills empower students with the ability to positively influence relationships that will serve them for life. Lots of interactions and fun examples.
